Is any of the term-apps in portage supporting fullscreen?

I would use the terminals, was it not for this bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=33743

Thanks. I'm merging xfce-extras/terminal now.

Edit: Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

I just use the fastest and less troublesome terminal I know of... xterm (in utf-8 mode!), and make my window manager (xfce4.2) do the hard work (to make any window decorationless fullscreen, press alt-F11). I normally keep the first virtual desktop like that, and run gnu screen on the terminal.

Oh my - that was one of the most perfect shortcuts in XFCE I've ever seen. Thanks. o_O

I use aterm in FVWM, with a modified version of taviso's config.

With fvwm you can edit the config file to make aterm appear with no titlebar(add NoTitle to the Style section for it), and then (with my config) press Alt+F2 to fullscreen it. The corresponding fvwm command is 'Pick Maximize'.

You could also create a style profile for aterm like the HiddenConsole one, so that not all the terminals would lack titlebars.

just something off-topic (sorry for any inconvenience) ..
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?p=2041272#2041272
that was the link for the post .... does it mean that there were 41272 deleted post ? ^^ ?

For fullscreen I use ermmm xterm, maximize it, and remove the "decoration" with openbox...
