|
|
That's right, I'm getting numerous error, can't find lib-whatever. That means libgcc_s and libXuu and a few others. I can't run startx, gcc-update, env-update, all generate errors. I've tried symlinking every part of gcc, and still nothing.
Is my system totally broken? Will I need to reinstall? |

Good question, however I am not altogether sure. I had done an emerge sync, and attempted to emerge kde-3.1 but it failed. |

Yes I did do an etc-update. I realy don't know exactly what went wrong. Just one day I booted up and kerblooey .....
Maybe there should be more gentoo sys-managemnt scripts written in bash, so that people with messed up systems can emerge, or whatever, since python scripts require libcc type things. |
