Hello.
I'm trying to compile blender (a opensource 3d modelling program) and it needs the mesa libs. The problem is mesa 3.5 produces a whole bunch of undefined references during the compile. I also saw mesa 3.5 isn't a stable release so I was thinking I should use an older version (3.4.1).
So my questions are: Are there any older ebuilds of the mesa libs, if so where can I find them, and how do I have to emerge them?
Greetings,

I don't know how to download older packages with command-line but with kportage it's easy, you can browse the whole portege tree.
Still about mesa seems to exist only 3.5. _________________ I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it. |

If you can get or create an ebuild of an earlier version you can emerge it by doing emerge "<mesa-3.5" or by doing emerge /usr/portage/media-libs/mesa/mesa-3.4.1.ebuild or whatever the filename is. _________________ Excellent.. |
