Since Vidalinux us based on Gentoo... are Vidalinux users welcome to post questions here?
I installed VidaLinux on another system I have here the other night... but VL's forum is, well... less populated than this one.

I think we had a discussion about this before, and the general consensus was that if we could answer the question, then we should, no matter what distro. There were a few people who thought that Vidalnux were "stealing" gentoo, but not that many.
Besides, if you hadn't just mentioned that you were a Vida user we never would've known! |

Fair enough... when you think about it... Vida is just gentoo pre-wrapped with Gnome and a few other packages.. all installed by anaconda. I don't think that they write their own kernels or anything. It's just a different flavour of Gentoo.
There's no such thing as 'stealing' linux when you think about it... they're really just helping you spread the good word!
