mplayer borks emerging on demux_gif.c

Hey, while installing mplayer it borks compiling demux_gif.c...

I've tried versions 1.0_pre4-r7 and 1.0_pre5-r5... is there another different version? I know i've installed mplayer in the past. (not since the most recent re-install, though)

Any libraries that I need to install that aren't actually listed in the requirements? I'm using sudo to install it if that makes any difference.

Thanks (I think it worked, it just passed the cc comand with demux_gif.c)!

Out of curiosity, why would I have to re-merge those files? I had the gif USE flag already set when I emerged them.

Because you've unmerged the corresponding packages at some point or the other...
