Since my computer is kind of slow (PIII 450MHz) and I *never* compile any Java-programs, I wonder if there's any way to disable the GCJ module when emerging GCC ?? Will USE="-java" make it?

Yes, "-java" disables java for gcc (at least for version 3.2.1-r6). You can always look at the ebuild to see which options are possible. |
