X and Fluxbox

My .xinitrc has 'exec fluxbox' at the end of the file, is there a faster way to have fluxbox start imediately when you type startx ?

I notice that the original X background blinks a bit before fluxbox starts.. I'd like to not see it if that's possible ?

Well if you have alot of things in your ~/.xinitrc you could try placing "exec fluxbox" on the first line.

It has to be last else the other stuff won't work.
