When I get the Ultra5 to boot with 2.6.10, the keyboard is all screwy. I have used the sun5 keyboard settings in the kernel but to no avail it still doesnt work. Works fine through if I boot the 2.4 kernel
in the section <Input device support>

any ideas

FIXED!
what was interesting is that the keyboard worked fine until the map was loaded, then it screwed up. I looked at some documentation pointing towards KEYMAP=" ". This only made keymap.d lock up when starting.
Al I had to do to fix it was by removing keymap from loading all together with
rc-update del keymap boot
that fixed'em
