I have little problem with my nvidia mx400 , i cant figure out how to enable
agp support. I compiled agp support in to kernel as modul - it sees that
my motherboard is not supported yet, trying option -try_unsupported also
fails, xfree config file I add option agp 3 .I have no success yet with nvidias
agp driver as well.
Some help is very wellcome.
Thanks for your time. |

This one has cost me a few hours today already since i've been trying to sort it out myself. You don't mention where you've tried to add try unsupported but contrary to other distros i've used I finally got it to work when putting it in /etc/modules.autoload and without the "option" part. So my /etc/modules.autoload file now looks like
# For example:
# 3c59x
emu10k1
nvidia
agpgart agp_try_unsupported=1
Hope it works for you. |
