Okay. I am a complete and total newbie to Gentoo, and really to Linux for that matter. I've been running RedHat 7.3 for about 3 weeks. It's as fast as Win2k.... I was hoping it'd be faster...
Anyway, I'm going to be running Gentoo in a couple weeks, and I want to know if there is anyone around that has gotten the High Point HTP370 RAID controller to work on their system? If so, how did they do it? What did they do to get it to work? Was it hard?
Please remember I'm a total newbie. I've been in Linux for about 8 months.... well, I guess I'm not that new, but still... I've only been running it on my main system and been serious about it for like 3 weeks.
Any help would be great. Thanks!

The kernel has HP366 driver, have you done research to see if they will work? ( albit a bit slower than true hp370 drivers ) |
