I've been using gentoo linux for a couple years now, and I recently installed portage on my powerbook. The problem is I haven't been able to find very many usefull packages in portage. What are the best mac os x ebuilds out there? |

What do you mean by OSX ebuilds?
What programs are you looking for?

network tools like ethereal, or a terminal app that supported tabs, file sharing apps. I really wanted to see what's the best of what's out there. |

They don't have many specific osx ones yet. Emacs will build a native aqua app if you have the 'aqua' USE-flag set.
Another cool app providing multiple desktops on OSX with awesome transitions is DesktopManager. The author provides an e-build on his sf file listings: DesktopManager Ebuilds
If anyone knows of more let us know. |
