Hi, I find Gimp in dependances of KDE 3 so I need to install it although I don't use it. Is it normal?

Have you tried to edit your /etc/make.conf file to disable Gimp?

Code:

USE= "-gimp"

I dont know which package you are trying to install in the kde branch unless you are installing of them.

If you only want to do this one time you can do this:

USE="-gimp" emerge kde
