I made changes to the source in /var/tmp/portage/packagename.... then did 'emerge packagename'.. but it unpacked the orginal source on top of my edited soruce... how can I tell emerge not to unpack the source, just to use what's already there?

P.S. - I know the real way is to make a patch and go through all that, but this is a quick fix.... _________________ ServerMotion |
