hey all, I just got saddled with a E250 with 2x300 ultraII and 512megs ram, 4x18gig drives, no framebuffer. Do any of you have any ideas what to do with it? No idea is too nerdy. Or maybe just point me in the direction of some "what to do with a linux computer" web sites.
Also is there any cheap/interesting card to use in the 66mhz pci slot?
I honestly cant think what to do with it, so far I just compile a lot of stuff.

What should i do with a compilation of hardware components called PC? Mind about a lot.
And what to do with a Sparc system? Don't know?
Eventually the same?
Sorry, if it sounds ironic, but i don't really understand, what you want.

My standard of knowledge is, that PCI cards for Sparc technology is in general very expensive. That's the reason for me not using my outmoded Ultra-10. _________________ proud to be 100% M$ free |

you can put it in a box and mail it to me!
or track down a frame buffer and turn it into a desktop/workstation.
Maybe serve with it. I've got a sparc 1/5 as beefy serving up web+mail+goodies without any problems... _________________ -Tim Smith |
