Writing ebuilds

This is probably the wrong forum but I don't see one that seems right.

I've written two ebuilds (freecraft and freecraft media project). They both work, at least on my machine, but even after reading the help documents for writing ebuilds I have a number of questions and I'm wondering what's the proper place to ask such questions and get advice on improving my ebuilds.
