Eterm cannot do transparency?

I installed 1.4rc2 and emerged openbox, eterm (which emerged imlib2 and some other stuff as well). Eterm I got is 0.9.1. I tried to set brightness and transparency as usual, but it doesn't work, the only thing that gets transparent is area around scrollbar (few pixels).
Is this imlib2 or eterm problem?

last weekend I emerged eterm-9.1-r5 Transparency is working fine on xfce.

I reemerged imlib2 and eterm and it worked. Problem solved.
