Hi all,

Mail is stored in a maildir on a remote server.
I want to be able to read that mail using Evolution without using pop3 or imap.

Has someone experience in mapping the maildir over nfs and consult the mail like it is stored in a local maildir.
I'm more or less thinking of some sort of exchange - outlook setup.

Anyone with advice?

Thank in advance

Is fetchmail a possibility?

No,

I've been experimenting with mounting the remote maildir over nfs to my local profile and use evolution to read in that maildir,
works nice, just needs some finetuning and i wonder how this behaves with more users at the same time,
Will be experimenting with afs too,
thanks
