No matter what i try to emerge i get an ACCESS VIOLATION.
Code: |
--------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------
LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-groff-1.18.1-32711.log"
chown: /var/cache/edb
chown: /var/cache/edb/dep
open_wr: /var/cache/edb/mtimedb
chown: /var/cache/edb
chown: /var/cache/edb/dep
open_wr: /var/cache/edb/mtimedb
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|
the files in /var/cache/edb seems to be correct:
Code: |
nc-lnx root # ls -la /var/cache/edb
total 100
drwxrwxr-x 3 root wheel 4096 Dec 27 17:38 .
drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 4096 Nov 30 02:20 ..

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 3 Dec 27 17:38 counter

try to do an emerge sync and then downgrade perl to 5.6.1-r10. but if you get access violation errors with this, then... |

Looks like the emerge forgot to step out of the sandbox... remove sandbox from the FEATURE variable and see what happens. |

I did and 'emerge portage' and that solved the problem. |
