I've been having loads of problems with the 1.1a install- weird stuff like total system freezes and continuous XFce config file borking, that I don't think is my fault- and I'm wondering if the 1.2 base system would fix some of them. I'd modify and burn one myself, but my CDR drive is on dad's Winblows computer. Please help ^_^ |

check:
http://www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/releases/build/1.2/
don't know if it would fix anything maybe if your using the binaries else you rebuild the system yourself (bootstrap.sh / emerge system) using the latest portage files which you got when doing emerge rsync the first time you booted. But if you're doing a stage2 (glibc, gcc, gettext already compiled) or stage3 (lot's of things precompiled) it may cure some things. _________________ "Remember there's a big difference between kneeling down and bending over.", Frank Zappa |

Read the readme in the isolinux directory - it has instructions on making your own ISO. Once the iso is made, get it to the win machine and burn it. _________________ ---
