Seems to me like nobody uses gentoo for multimedia?! People too busy compiling new kernel and browsing forums that cant hear some music? Why most dj-s use proprietary mixing soft and windows for everyday work? |

Actually, it appears you answered your own question.

GDAM appears to have a CLI with scripting support...so if you want to cue up a script to lay down some beats and go out and dance yourself, you could... |

They say: very primitive interface to everything gdam can do.
Im looking something like FastTracker maybe for svgalib too. |
