Push for Micro$oft to increase prices on their products

I was thinking of starting a campaign off.

It starts like this;

Next time I meet anyone who works for Micosoft, I will congratulate them on the quality of their product, and query why they don't charge higher prices than they already do. Clearly its a quality product, with so many people using it around the world (and in orbit!)

The hoped for effect would be that the prices would go up.

Thus, more people would then turn to the free alternatives, such as GNU/Linux (preferably the gentoo disto).

Well, is this daft?

unfortunately M$ has never listened to the little guys input in the first place. I guess that is why we are all here...

Good point scott_ell.

But I think the real issue is, can their prices be any higher without being ridiculously expensive that people will start to get suspicous?
