Hello and happy merry Christmas
I installed my 2 weeks system with a 2.4.19 kernel and I didn't get any error when installing my usb modem ( Sagem Fats800) .
But yesterday I tried the linux-2.4.20-win4lin-r1 to get the usb hotplug module and I get this following errors after a make
Code: |
make *** No rule to make target '/usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules/AIXlvm_vge.ver' needed by 'AdiUSBADSLDriver.o'. Stop.
|
After a research on the net the AIXlm... file's related to EVMS .
On the linux-2.4.19 kernel I didn't didn't have to enable it in my kernel !!!!!!
Anyway to bypass the error I installed a patch to get the EVMS module in the kernel and enable it .
After did it and a make on my driver directory .
a new errors appears
Code: |
make *** No rule to make target '/usr/src/linux/include/linux/modules/cryptoapi.ver' needed by 'AdiUSBADSLDriver.o'. Stop.
|
so what is the hell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What do I have to install to get my modem working again !!!!! |
