| What should I take? a 1300mhz duron or a 1200mhz athlon thunderbird. I've noticed that there are no duron flags, but is it possible to use thunderbird flags for a duron? |

Duron 1300 = Morgan core = athlon-xp for gcc 3.x
From your "options" in processors, I gather you have a motherboard that does not do 133 Mhz FSB, therefore you have to use a 100 Mhz FSB processor.
The Tbird has 256 kB cache, the Duron only 64. The Duron has SSE support and a more modern (cooler) core.
The performance difference will be small. I think I'd use the cheapeast one |

| Well, the thing is that I got the Thunderbird. And I got the "mission" from the guy to fix him a computer. So Im concidering buying some hardware to put in my new case. And sell my old one to him. Tought. I found a Athlon XP 1700+ that costed just 10$ more then the duron. So I think I'll go for that one. |
