I read in the mplayer docs that if you want a GUI with mplayer you have to specify "--enable-gui" in configure.
This option isn't specified in the mplayer ebuild. I was wondering if you could emerge mplayer with the GUI enabled? Or do I have to change the ebuild myself?
thnx. |

On my system it configured it with gui support (gmplayer). I beleive you have to have gnome or gtk in the USE settings. I don't have access to the system right now to verify that though _________________ Robert |

The gui seems to be associated with the gtk use flag:
Code: | use gtk \
&& myconf="${myconf} --enable-gui --enable-x11 \
--enable-xv --enable-vm --enable-png" |

thnx! I don't have gtk in my USE flags, so I think that's it. |
