I posted a new bug report against modutils 2.4.22. It says that my modules compiled with GCC 3.2 were compiled with GCC 2.xx and refuses to load. Downgrading to 2.4.19 seems to solve the problem for now. Bug 12128

I found that lt_modem.o was compiled with gcc 2, so it is not a modutils bug. Anyway, the module get loaded if using "insmod -f"
