|
|
The linux format Awards are now open for voteing here
Gentoo is nominated in at least 3 places
1) Free Software Project of the year
2) Best Distro
3) Best Support Services (these very Forums)
For those that don't know Linux Format is probably the best selling Linux Magazine... or at least i think so, even if they are far too slanted towards mandrake and KDE (the noobs)...
If any Mods are reading if you think supporting gentoo is worthy for cross posting to Gentoo Chat Please Do.... Hey its important!!! _________________

No its is sold in around the world, its just Exported there... but its quite popular in the US i think. They get alot of US letter's and have some US writers... _________________

Oddly I think they missed a bet when they didn't include on of the companies that has done the most to highlight and enhance linux in enterprise.
SCO.
They just don't realise that's what they've done _________________ "Every problem in the universe can be solved by finding the right long-haired prettyboy, and beating the crap out of him." |

I voted, but for Google.
Yeah, Google is the first tool I use when I'm trouble. I'm not a Google supporter, but Google is really the best web tool at the moment.

I had to agree with you. The great google knows all. _________________ Rationality is the recognition of the fact that nothing can alter the truth and nothing can take precedence over that act of perceiving it. |

/me tosses little match at fernandotc.
i would agree in some ways, although i have found loads of crap on google as well. the internet is a free country, and the gentoo forums are not
because ive always found good stuff on the forums, and only sometimes on google, i went with the forums
and gentoo everywhere else too.

What the hell? Emacs but no vim?
This election is obviously flawed and shouldn't be considered any further.
