Winex wont run anything but notepad and calc

Hey,

I downloaded and installed winex and am getting a strange problem.

I searched the forum but dont see an answer to this

I get Unhandled exception... Starting the debugger(which I never see, heh)

I get this for almost every app - only 2 that worked so far is notepad and calc

I got a win2k Pro installation on the Windows partition

Anyone know what else you may have to do to get more things to run? I notice it lists dlls in the config file. Does wine provide its own Dll's for system files? If so then they may be too old for the modern appz??
That being said, anyway of getting wine to use the dll's in the system folders - i did set the paths for system and system32, just not sure if those dlls are being used

weird... emerged wine and now most things run

guess its what I get for using the game version to run windows appz
