Howdy:
I just sat down again in front of my 3-week old Gentoo box, to be greeted by an error dialog. All it said was "Server forced disconnect" with an OK button. I'm running the basic gnome2 environment (trying to get the e17 ebuild working).
I don't have a clue where it came from; anybody else seen this? Can anyone tell me how to derive the actual process from an un-named window?
I play with lots of different stuff on my little network; I guess it could be ldap, cups, apache, edna, courier (imap, smtp), samba, ntp, ?? Alternatively, I understand gnome/gnome2 provide many local services (to components, etc) in a "client-server" fashion, so I guess it could've been pretty much anything...
Thanks in advance for any tips, etc. |

Google whispered in my ear and told me "GnomeICU". _________________ Linux user off and on since circa 1995 |

Why, yes I do have gnomeicu running at the moment (still waiting for the ultimate jabber client).
I guess I could've googled for it first myself...
Thanks. |
