You want this: /usr/share/zoneinfo/America/Indianapolis
Then you'll be normal like all the rest of us in Indiana. _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..

| Wow, that is cool! I've often thought daylight savings time rediculous, but it's a bit difficult to protest it when your employer expects you to be at work according to it. I assume this is a state thing? |

Should Daylight Savings Time be eliminated? _________________ if i never try anything, i never learn anything..

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, Indiana has not less than 3 different timezone rules. I spent some time struggling with that with one of the database folks here at my job..
Here are the Oracle names for them:
America/Indiana/Indianapolis
America/Indiana/Knox
America/Indiana/Vevay
Good luck picking the right ones..

Holy cow! There's actually a fourth in /usr/share/zoneinfo: America/Indiana/Marengo. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |
