Hi guys, wonder if anyone can help me with this.....
I have an Apollo 2150 printer. I want to use this printer with Gentoo
I havent a clue on how to do this. It is connected to my usb port as well
I went to printer manager in KDE but didnt find anything in there to help me with how to get my printer setup and working
anyone have an idea?
P.S. I dont know if CUPS needs to be running or installed. I know it isnt running(dont know how to get it running either). I am on a local machine and no network so any simple method will be fine
thanx |

Check linuxprinting.org
http://www.linuxprinting.org/
They will have everything you need to get your printer going. Also, make sure USB printer support is compiled into your kernel. The printer uses HP's drivers, and according linuxprinting it works perfectly under Linux, so hopefully this will help |
