|
|
Mounting a cd on my system works fine, but it uses the older 8 letter DOS style filenames, rather than long filenames as specified by vfat. You know, "adobe_~1" instead of "adobe_acrobat". I can mount my windows partition just fine, and see long file names there, but the cdrom appears to require mounting as iso9660 which does not support long file names?
Anyone know how to fix it so that cds are mounted as vfat? Thanks for the help,
Zen
ps. Currently, fstab says the following about the cdrom:
/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 user,users,noauto,ro 0 0 |
