I've got app-misc/beep to have a lill' more fun beeping =)
the problem is that when I beep as normal user, I get following:
| Code: | Could not open /dev/console for writing.
open: Permission denied |
I've tryed adding the user to the console group but that didn't
help. At the moment only sudo works.
Any ideas?

| after u create a user make sure the user owns /home/user,check /etc/securetty make sure u dont have them comented # |

some console will work with su only
 , try emerging a diff kind a console,thats if u using X already |
