Is there a acpi dockapp that can display both the battery status as well as the temperature reading that acpi provides? Thanks

| In one app, not that I know of. But wmacpimon will give you temerature, among other things found in /proc/acpi and wmab will give you battery status (and more). One thing though, both of these apps are based on older ACPI standards. So if you're using the "acpi-sources" available from the portage tree, you're going to need to edit some code so they read the correct files. |

| I'm pretty sure gkrellm will run in WM and handle what you need. As far as I know, it's the benchmark by what most other monitor progs are checked by. Highly extensible and many many modules to choose from, including temp/fanspeed/battery/voltages... You may want to give it a try. |
