new install

I just got through doing a stage 2 install of 2004.2 on my sparc 10. This is my first time installing gentoo and the instructions couldnt have been better. Went very smooth and very little problems. I managed to get everything setup nicely and comoiled without a hitch. Just need a little more ram then 128. Even the graphics card (ati rage pro 4mb) is doing nicely at 1600x1200 at 16bit.

Just have to finish getting the desktop and apps installed as I like, and then install apache, tomcat, php, mysql and postgrel so I can develop on this box.

congratulations. The only part of gentoo better then the documentation is the community.
