I wanted to snif my serial port data, so I can debug some peripherals protocols.
I wonder if there's any info on it.
I tried using VMware to emulate a win98 machine and then I tail'ed "-f" the ttySx but I just found out it doesnt work =\ (I know nothing about device files...)
Any tips/help ? |

=) thanks.
I had some like these ones, but I was looking for something like a fake "dev" file (like /dev/fakettySx) so I would forward to a real ttyS and log all data.
With this ones, I'll have to use two computers and serial comunication between them for the same purpose... but I guess that's the way it is =\
Thanks |
