|
|
hello.
i am trying to burn an SVCD .bin/.cue file using CDRDAO. i am using the sample files from vcdhelp.com. after i burn it, and then try to play it, it plays back all choppy, as if it skips every 2nd/3rd frame. VCDs work fine, though. i saw in a few place i should use the "-t svcd" switch with cdrdao, but it always complains of an illegal option.
any help would be greatly appreciated,
thanks,

The -t options is what you used with vcdimager to create your cue/bin file
Code: | vcdimager -t svcd -l FOO foo.mpg |
This creates two files : videocd.cue and vicdeocd.bin I then use cdrdao to write the file to CDR and I have never had a problem.
If your file is skipping it might be worthwhile to run vcdimage with an additional option to upedate the scan offset points. If memory serves me correct, the actual option is
--update-scan-offsets
Hope that helps.
