Hi Gentoo forums
Question: Is it possible to put more than 1 email address in my profile? I'd like to recieve notifications in both my work & home mailboxes while having only 1 profile.
I think I should be able to do me1@mydomain.com; me2@myotherdomain.com ?

Or perhaps you should set up a mail forward for gentoo-related mail on one of the accounts ? _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /

As far as I know this feature isn't implemented yet. _________________ "To have a successful open source project, you need to be at least somewhat successful at getting along with people." -- Daniel Robbins |

Is it possible to request this functionality?
I think this would be a usefull feature, making life much easier as people would only need 1 profile and eliminating the need to setup mail forwarding would make looking for specific messages nicer as the subect fields would not be modified.

Maybe i'm missing the point of this thread, but I don't think that's really what i'm asking for.
What i'm asking is for the ability to have 2 email address's in my profile so that all notifications of replys to my posts etc are sent to both address's while only having 1 profile on the forums.

farmorg | What Ian is saying is that they don't make any changes to the phpBB code in order to try and minimise downtime when they come to upgrading it.
If you really want this as a feature go to the phpBB website and request it there or make a patch, submit it and wait for it to be integrated into the main code (rather than just being accepted as a mod). Adaptrs' suggestion of setting up mail forwarding is going to be a much quicker way round it though... |
