ok
i have gentoo installed on a single drive /dev/hda
2.5.47, with HPT Raid Support
on my onboard hpt374 are 2 WD 120GB drives, which are recongnized in gentoo as hdi and hdk - the hpt374 is also recognized correctly
the 2 drives are in a raid0 array with 64k stripe size, BUT i have no /dev/ataraid device, so i'm not able to use the raid array (only the 2drives seperatly)
what did i make wrong? |

modules ataraid and hptraid loaded?
