Well as th topic says, I miss this library.... And I tried to link with the libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 present in the lib-compat the the soft I use complains that about undefined symbol....
Do you know how I could have this library? |

I am not sure but this library is for gcc2x... so try to make a link...
ln -s ....
in the right directory... and then an #env-update
But it will not obligatory work !!!

This library come with lib-compat package. Just emerge lib-compat and you should be ok.

Well, I already told you that I tried to link to the library present in the lib-compat..... It did NOT work.
Do you have any other idea |

| That library is part of the package lib-comapt. You need to install the lib-compat package to get the libstdc++-lib6.1-2.so.2 and it should be located in /usr/lib/ |

lib-compat is already installed on my system, the library I have is libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2
The one I need is libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 and is obiously missing |

was any solution to this problem found?
I'm having lots of troubles with this library... couldn't libcompat
build libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 also?
and put it in portage FAST! |
