What are Mimesources and how do I get them

I get the following error when trying to run qt assistant.

QTextBrowser: no mimesource for assistant.html

Assistant loads but the documentation doesn't show up in the program.

This is on my laptop that doesn't have all sorts of applications installed. Basically only fluxbox, X, vim, mysql and of course qt; no gnome, kde, netscape, mozilla, email or anything else big.

On my desktop which has all that stuff and more and QT Assistant works. I guess because something else I emerged set the mimesources or something.

Any Ideas?
