During booting, I saw the error:
"some filesystems failed to mount" [!!]
I looked for the error log but didn't find one. The contens of /etc/fstab:
/dev/hdc11 /boot ext3 noauto,noatime 1 2
/dev/hdc12 / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/hdc13 /usr ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdc14 /usr/local ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdc15 /var ext3 default 1 2
/dev/hdc16 /home ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/hdc10 none swap sw 0 0
/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy ext2 defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0

Perhaps it's trying to mount your floppy drive and there is no disk in it? Try changing it to:
Code: | dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy ext2 noauto 0 0 |

No. The fact is I had set /dev/fd0 to noauto then I saw the error so I set it to defaults but the error remained.
When I read your post, I reset it to noauto again then reboot. The error was still there. _________________ bluesky

Does it say which filesystem failed to mount? _________________ Robert |

I found it and fixed it. It was the missed "s" in defaults in hdc15 line(fstab).
But thanks. _________________ bluesky
