Epson Sty Col 600, prints PostScript text :(

Hi Guys

I have an Epson Stylus color 600 installed on a windows 2k box. This box shares that printer through samba, and up until recently i could print fine with it.

Now, whatever i send to the printer results in the printer spewing out pages of PostScript (I guess). Where once was a pretty cups test page, now is pages and pages of slightly human readable text.

So please, any suggestions. I've unmerged/remerged samba,cups,ghostscript,gimp-print (gimp managed to confuse me some more).

ANY help appreciated.

I tried installing older versions of cups and ghostscript, but that doesnt seem to work either.

Any body have ANY clue?
