| When running a job, I get a lot of slowdown in openoffice, so I made a script to stop the job when cpu load is high. It works on other boxes using kernel -r5. In the -r9 boxes, it changes the status of the job, but the cpu use continues as does the slowdown in other applications like openoffice. Wondering how to fix this.... Need to change some option in the kernel? Or maybe this is just a bug in the latest kernel... |

If you've finished the install guide, look somewhere else. But if you're still working your way through it, or just need some info before you start your install, this is the place. |
