Ok all, here is the deal.

I mount a novell volume using the root account (only one that is allowed to mount it) adn everything works fine. I login as a regular user (or su to that user) and that same mount (till mounted as before) is in ReadOnly mode.

I have tried using the uid and gid arguments to the ncpmount command by setting them to use nobody and the ls -la showed all permissions in order for nobody on the entire mount but still only read access for the user.

So here are my two questions

1. Is there any way to make a root mounted ncpfs volume R+W for all users?

2. Is there any way to make the ncpmount command work for all users and not just root?

And answer to either question would make me a very happy camper. :D
