(i guess this counts for the networking section)
I'm looking for a program that is similar in function to hyperterminal on windows. i tried minicom, but either that's not what i'm looking for, or i'm not using it right. all i need to do is monitor the serial port for rs232 data, and send rs232 data out the same serial port. hyperterminal did this well, so now i ask the forum if they know of any program that does the same thing, in the portage system or otherwise.
any and all advice is welcomed and appreciated
