i built an ebuild package for PMS password manager. it works really good i even added a diff to patch it for the new CDK API so it will work with the current CDK version of gentoo. my problem is that when it's in the install process this is the output that i get:
mv pms /var/tmp/portage/pms-0.94/work/pms-0.94/bin/pms
strip /var/tmp/portage/pms-0.94/work/pms-0.94/bin/pms
/bin/install -c /var/tmp/portage/pms-0.94/work/pms-0.94/bin/pms /usr/bin
ACCESS DENIED open_wr: /usr/bin/pms
/bin/install: cannot create regular file `/usr/bin/pms': Permission denied
make[1]: *** [install] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/pms-0.94/work/pms-0.94/pms'
make: *** [install_pms] Error 2
!!! ERROR: app-misc/pms-0.94 failed.
!!! Function einstall, Line 8, Exitcode 2
!!! einstall failed
--------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------
LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-pms-0.94-11822.log"
open_wr: /usr/bin/pms

any ideas what to do? |
