Entrance on Ultra 5

Having got fed up of how long KDE takes to build on an Ultra 5 I thought I'd have another go with Enlightenment. I'd also like a replacement display manager to kdm.

Has anybody managed to get Entrance to work under sparc yet? - I'm trying the 0.9.0.20040522 ebuild under 2.6.6 kernel with udev, and xorg-x11.

If I just start entrance manually or via init.d, it kills virtually everything, and persistently logs me out. (This seems common judging by other posts).

The only way I can get it to load is if I start X first, as in...
