rp-pppoe troubles

I'm getting the following error message when running adsl-connect:

Using interface ppp0
-m: 0 is too low (min 536)
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/0
ioctl(PPPIOCSASYNCMAP): Inappropriate ioctl for device(25)
tcflush failed: Input/output error

My network devices seem to be going up properly. I'm thinking this is a /dev problem but I don't know how to proceed...

I had rp-pppoe working in RedHat, but I really want to get gentoo working![/quote]
