Por mas que le doy vueltas (opciones de configuracion, compilar con spectrum24t, etc) no consigo compilar _ninguna_ de las versiones de pcmcia-cs disponibles en portage;

Uso nucleo 2.4.19, y aun añadiendo o quitando soporte para pcmcia/cardbus en el nucleo, siempre rebota en el mismo error.
Alguien ha sufrido algo parecido?

Lo que necesitaba era un driver para una tarjeta 3COM Wireless XJack, que resulta que llegue a él a través de las referencias de Jean Thourrilles. Hay que compilar pcmcia_cs con su driver, incluyéndolo en el directorio de trabajo.
Es una tarjeta bastante especifica, tanto físicamente  como de características de cifrado, roaming, etc.
