When the mouse (Logitech optic.) is detected it works fine with the scroll-wheel and all but once in a while, at startup the kernel won't detect the mouse, the red light under it always lit up but Linux doesn't recognize it still.
I'm using the OHCI driver but none of the others proved to be better. I tried enabling Long timeout as well but that didn't do it.
It works all the time under XP Pro but Linux is quit sporadic. Right now it detects at second boot but next week it might take just one and then three.
I'm running single on a TigerMP kernel 2.4.18 and Gentoo has the same tarball but patched with 2.4.19 and in both Slack and Gen is the same behavior.
Any help appreciated. _________________ "Is this type of thing going to happen every time we switch to improbability drive?" "Very probably I'm afraid." |
